June is a visual feast with gardens at their apex, rife with blooms and blossoms. The Cornwall Library is adding to the cornucopia with its new show, Thinking About Gardens featuring works by resident Ellen Moon.

Wisdom House is excited to present Ellen Moon and her collection of watercolors and textiles: Translating Nature, now shown in the Marie Louise Trichet Gallery.
“I am an artist because it is in my nature to be so. A cat hunts, a bird flies—I make stuff. Just can’t help it.
My work has three strands—fiber, watercolors, and costumes. The strands are interlaced by my love of the natural world.”

April 28, 2020. The Golden Lady was happy to parade with members of the Grumbling Gryphons Traveling Children’s Theater at Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation in Canaan, CT. Residents came outside to watch or waved from their windows.
May 2018. The Golden Lady was invited to lead the Grand Parade that opened the 40th Annual Wake Up The Earth Festival in Jamaica Plain and Roxbury, MA.
