These paintings are the current fruit of years of painting in one place. In August of 2010 I began a series of 365 small plein air watercolors—one for each day of the calendar year. I finished the series in December of 2013. These paintings were all made on site in the field in front of the house where I grew up. This field is, without doubt, my favourite place in the world.
